Bharat Varadachari will be one of the table speakers at an in-person Defense Collaborative speed-dating conference on Risk & Insurance. During the conference, speakers remain at their tables while attendees rotate every 50 minutes. Varadachari’s presentation is titled “Trying a Case during COVID.” He has tried a number of cases since the Courts reopened after the pandemic and will share some of the unique issues that now arise post-Covid.  Registration information for the conference, which is being held Feb. 23-24 in Tampa, Florida, is available here. Attendees are eligible to earn two ethics credit hours.

Varadachari, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on trials involving complex business litigation, including matters related to the defense of the trucking and transportation industry, personal injury, and insurance matters. He has been named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys and Inns of Court. He is also currently  Vice-President of the St. Louis Chapter of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, is a past president of The Lawyers Association of St. Louis, and is President-Elect of the St. Louis County Bar Association.
