Zain M. Jaffry has joined HeplerBroom as an associate in the Chicago office. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage disputes, premises liability claims, and trucking and transportation litigation. An experienced litigator and trial attorney, his clients value his responsiveness, attention to detail, and practical assessment of litigation risk. He has argued matters in state, federal, and appellate courts and has obtained favorable outcomes on behalf of his clients at trial, serving as first-chair trial counsel throughout his career. Jaffry is fluent in Urdu and speaks conversational French and Mandarin Chinese.
He earned his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2021. He also holds a B.A. in Economics from McMaster University. While in law school, he was Vice President of the Mock Trial Team. He was also a member of the Black Law Student Association, Graduate and Professional Student Council, and Veterans Legal Assistance.
Jaffry is licensed to practice in Illinois and is admitted to the bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
