Thomas Magee was honored with the Jim Holloran Legacy of Advocacy Award by St. Louis Survivors Legal Support (SLSLS) in recognition of his volunteer service on behalf of survivors of intimate partner violence.

SLSLS provides free legal representation to these survivors, helping them obtain Orders of Protection and other critical relief, including custody, child support, firearms relinquishment, substance abuse treatment, and batterer intervention programs.

Holloran was an attorney, community leader, and lifelong St. Louis resident who was committed to fighting for victims, securing justice, and supporting those in need. The Legacy of Advocacy Award honors individuals who demonstrate the legal excellence, integrity, and commitment to vulnerable members of the community that characterized Holloran’s life and career.

A partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, Magee is widely recognized for his trial work. He is an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, a Fellow in the highly selective American College of Trial Lawyers, and a six-time member of the Missouri Lawyers Media’s Power List of most powerful defense attorneys in the state.
