Aleen Tiffany and Stephanie Weiner recently presented “CGL Risk Transfer: It’s Not Just Construction Anymore” from the firm’s Chicago office to an audience of in-house counsel, risk managers, insurance professionals, and claims managers attending both in person and online. CLE credit was available for participants.
The seminar examined both foundational and advanced risk transfer concepts, including additional insured coverage, contractual indemnification, tenders, insurance policy endorsements, duties to defend and indemnify, and strategic issues involving reservation of rights and anti-indemnity laws. Following the presentation, the firm hosted a cocktail reception for those who attended the program in person.
