Alec Messina will be among the featured speakers at the 2019 Annual Air Quality Management Conference of the Lake Michigan States Section of the Air & Waste Management Association. Messina will be part of a panel discussing environmental hot topics, including air toxics and ethylene oxide regulation. CLE credits are available for those attending the conference, which is being held at the Drury Lane Oakbrook on November 5.
Messina, a partner in the firm’s Springfield office, focuses his practice on environmental law issues. He also spearheads the firm’s Government Affairs practice group. Prior to joining HeplerBroom, he served as Director of the Illinois EPA and was previously Executive Director of the Illinois Environmental Regulatory Group.
