On May 25, John Hanson was installed as President of the Madison County (Illinois) Bar Association. The Association of over 600 attorneys exists as both a network of legal professionals as well as a legal resource for the communities and citizens of Madison County. Hanson previously served as its Recording Secretary, Treasurer, and First and Second Vice Presidents.

An associate in the firm’s Edwardsville office, Hanson focuses his practice on the defense of litigation involving personal injury, products liability, insurance law, commercial and residential property taxation, governmental matters, and election law. Prior to joining HeplerBroom, he was a Madison County Assistant State’s Attorney, with experience in both civil and criminal matters.
