Three of HeplerBroom’s asbestos litigation partners will play key roles at HarrisMartin’s annual Midwest Asbestos Litigation Conference, which will be held September 6 at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis. Brenda Baum of the firm’s Edwardsville office is co-chair of the event. Rebecca Nickelson of the firm’s St. Louis office will present practice pointers for St. Louis asbestos cases in a session that will include the Honorable Elizabeth B. Hogan of the Missouri 22nd Judicial Circuit Court. Eric Hall, who is also from the firm’s Edwardsville office, will be part of a roundtable discussing Madison County asbestos litigation. Panelists in the latter session will also include the Honorable Stephen Stobbs of the Illinois Circuit Court.
Baum, Hall, and Nickelson all focus their practices on asbestos litigation, products liability, talc, and toxic tort matters. All three are recipients of prestigious legal leadership awards, including being named AV Preeminent Attorneys by Martindale-Hubbell (Baum and Nickelson) and to the lists of Best Lawyers in America (Baum and Hall), Illinois and Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers Rising Stars (Hall and Nickelson), and Illinois Leading Lawyers (Baum).
