Sarah Jansen and Stephanie Weiner recently obtained summary judgment on behalf of an Illinois municipality in a personal injury lawsuit. Plaintiff alleged the poor condition of a city bridge caused her to lose control of her motorcycle while riding it across the bridge. Jansen and Weiner artfully defended the case under various provisions of Illinois’ Tort Immunity Act and successfully secured a win for the client.
Jansen, an Attorney of Counsel in the firm’s Crystal Lake office, is an experienced litigator. For almost 20 years, she’s successfully defended municipal and corporate clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
