Jamie M. Rein focuses her practice on civil litigation matters and corporate representation, including:

Ms. Rein handles daily issues encountered by general contractors and subcontractors, including general liability insurance coverage/tenders, injury claims, jobsite safety matters, underground and overhead utility work, electrical and mechanical systems and design, and complex construction contract analysis. She is experienced in commercial and business matters faced regularly by corporate clients. She also serves as outside general counsel for a large multi-state commercial construction company, handles general liability claims for subsidiaries of a Fortune 500 company, and has acted as special counsel for units of local government.

Prior to joining HeplerBroom, Ms. Rein worked for Aleen R. Tiffany, P.C. Previously, she was a civil attorney in the McHenry County (Illinois) State’s Attorney’s office, serving as legal counsel to the County’s elected officials, department heads, and employees and providing legal opinions and various lectures and trainings on the Open Meetings Act and Freedom of Information Act throughout McHenry County. She also served as Parliamentarian to the McHenry County Board.
