HeplerBroom Adds Three New Partners
Jamie Rein, Emily Roman, and Katie Fulara Vinge have been named partners of HeplerBroom LLC. Individually and collectively, these new partners have decades of experience and proven track records of providing excellent legal and litigation success for HeplerBroom’s clients in a range of practice areas.
For more than 20 years, Rein has provided legal services throughout the Illinois counties of McHenry, Lake, DuPage, and Cook. She often collaborates with in-house and national counsel, insurers and insured, and other company representatives to develop a practical legal strategy to meet her clients’ needs. Rein has been named to the list of Ones to Watch by Best Lawyers in America and is a prior recipient of the Best Under 40 Award for McHenry County. She earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School (n/k/a UIC Law School). She also holds a B.S. in Sociology and Political Science from Illinois State University. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and is admitted to the bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Roman is a skilled researcher and writer who routinely handles all motion practice from the inception of a case through trial, as well as appellate briefing. She’s briefed numerous appeals involving various substantive and procedural issues in all three Missouri Courts of Appeal and the Missouri Supreme Court. Prior to joining HeplerBroom, she was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Angela Turner Quigless of the Eastern District of the Missouri Court of Appeals. Roman has been named to the list of Ones to Watch by Best Lawyers in America. She earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and also holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri.
Vinge defends corporate and individual clients in civil litigation, with a focus on construction injury and defect and professional liability. Her clients appreciate both her advocacy and her pragmatic approach to best frame a defense that fits each client’s unique needs. Her experience and concern allow clients to have an overarching understanding of the legal process and how it directly impacts them. Vinge has been named to Best Lawyers’ list of Ones to Watch. She earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School (n/k/a UIC Law School) and took part in the European Union Law Program in the Czech Republic. She also holds a B.A. in Political Science.
