Overview
Carl J. Geraci defends a variety of clients in toxic tort litigation ranging from family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies. For 20 years, he has represented manufacturers, premises owners, suppliers, and contractors in hundreds of cases pending in Illinois (including Cook, Madison, McLean, and St. Clair Counties) and in Missouri (including St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and Jackson County).
He strives to reduce clients’ exposures by obtaining dismissals or favorable resolution of claims. Clients appreciate his attention to detail in all phases of multi-party toxic tort litigation from investigating claims and deposing witnesses to developing broad-based litigation strategies. Clients also look to him to develop and maintain relationships with opposing counsel and fellow defense counsel and secure favorable outcomes through discovery, motion practice, and settlements. He serves as the firm’s point person for all St. Louis City and St. Louis County asbestos cases, and he regularly provides clients with updates regarding developments in the law and Court practice.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Geraci did a two-year judicial law clerkship for the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District of Missouri.
When not defending clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and joining fellow automotive enthusiasts in various events.
