Stephanie Weiner and Tim Collins are presenting a continuing education lecture for dentists on how to protect their dental practices through smart business planning. The two attorneys will cover the basics of business formation and the legal protections various types of may provide. They’ll also discuss the importance of vendor and independent contractor agreements, the scope and differences among various types of insurance policies, and best ways of handling claims. This lecture will be held in Chicago on April 8, 2026.
Weiner, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, defends contractual matters (including risk transfer), personal injury cases, and municipal and §1983 claims, as well as construction and premises liability. Collins, also a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, is a trusted advisor to businesses of all sizes. He helps clients navigate all aspects of operating a business, including formation, structuring, and governance. Collins obtained his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and holds a B.A. in History from the University of Illinois. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and is admitted to the bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
