Brenda Baum, Meghan Kane, and Zachary Pashea were among 22 attorneys in the Third Judicial Circuit who volunteered their legal services to members of the public during the second quarter of 2018. The Circuit’s Pro Bono Committee members provide free legal information to those on limited incomes whose legal issues are related to civil matters.
Baum, Kane, and Pashea are all members of the firm’s Edwardsville office and focus their practices on asbestos and other toxic tort matters. All three have earned recognition for their contributions to the legal profession. Pashea was given the Third Judicial Circuit’s 2017 Pro Bono Rising Star Award, Kane was recently named an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star, and Baum has been named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and included on the lists of Best Lawyers in America, Illinois Super Lawyers, and Illinois Leading Lawyers.
