HeplerBroom Sponsors Black History Month Dinner

HeplerBroom is proud to announce that it is one of the sponsors of the 2023 Judge Theodore McMillian Black History Month dinner. The annual event, presented jointly by Lawyers Association of St. Louis and the Mound City Bar Association, acknowledges the rich history and contributions of African-American lawyers and judges in the St. Louis legal community. It also honors the memory of Judge McMillian, a St. Louis native who was the first African-American to serve on a Missouri state circuit court (St. Louis City Circuit Court, 22nd Judicial District), a Missouri state appellate court (Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District), and the federal bench (U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit).

This year’s dinner and reception are being held on Feb. 16 at the Westin Hotel at 811 Spruce Street.
