James DuChateau was a faculty member for a recent Financial Poise webinar on Insurance 101 for business owners. DuChateau discussed key elements of property, business interruption, and cyber liability policies. The webinar was the second in a series of five monthly webinars covering a range of insurance issues.

DuChateau, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and insurance coverage litigation in state and federal courts throughout the Midwest and Mountain West. His practice also includes the representation of financial institution clients in both UCC and REO matters, as well as trade secret and restrictive covenant litigation. DuChateau is currently the editor-in-chief of IDC Quarterly, the journal of the Illinois Association of Defense Counsel (IDC) and is on IDC’s Board of Directors. He has previously been honored as the Legal Assistance Foundation’s Pro Bono Volunteer of the Year and as IDC’s Volunteer of the Year.
