Bio

Patrick A. Becht is a highly motivated and talented trial attorney and trusted legal counselor. His practice includes complex civil litigation, commercial transactions, and general corporate representation. By emphasizing clear communication and detail-oriented strategy, Mr. Becht efficiently advances his clients’ objectives while delivering positive results. He regularly achieves favorable outcomes through progressive negotiation, mediation, and arbitration techniques. He also protects, enforces, and commercializes clients’ proprietary information and intellectual property rights, including government affairs and regulatory compliance matters before various administrative tribunals.

Prior to joining HeplerBroom, Mr. Becht gained valuable experience in complex civil litigation. He served as a Deputy Prosecutor for the State of Indiana, with a successful track record as first chair in dozens of jury and bench trials and evidentiary hearings. His experience also provides a unique perspective on judicial, legislative, and administrative processes through his work with the City of Dayton, the Ohio Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the United States Senate.

Mr. Becht’s desire to support and improve his community began at a young age. He earned his Eagle Scout Award by managing a charitable service project to collect food, clothing, and toys for his local school districts and churches. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and traveling, and stays involved in various political campaigns and fundraising efforts.
