Martin, Murphy, and Brown focus their practices on environmental law and are based in the firm’s Springfield office. Martin, a partner, also represents clients in real estate transfers, including the purchase and sale of impacted properties. Prior to entering private practice, she was an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Control Division of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. Murphy, also a partner, is an experienced litigator who defends clients in state-initiated enforcement actions and citizen lawsuits claiming injuries from environmental contamination. Brown, an associate attorney, is skilled in assisting clients with permitting, regulatory compliance, and litigation in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.
