HeplerBroom was one of the sponsors of the Chemical Industry Council of Illinois’ (CICI) 46th Annual Legislative Day at the State Capitol in Springfield. CICI members met with members of the Illinois General Assembly, IEPA officials, members of the Pollution Control Board, and other key government officials to keep them updated on issues of importance to the chemical industry, which is now the second largest manufacturing sector in Illinois. Michael Murphy, a partner in the firm’s Springfield office, serves on CICI’s Board of Directors.
