Amy Johnson and Tim Collins will be among the speakers at a Pathways to Success webinar for those interested in starting an independent insurance agency. Topics covered will include choosing a legal structure, obtaining a business entity license, non-compete agreements, and errors and omissions insurance. Both attorneys are part of HeplerBroom’s Chicago insurance law team. Johnson, a partner, has more than 20 years of experience mitigating risk on coverage issues and high exposure or bad faith claims, including a successful appellate record. Collins, an associate attorney, focuses his practice on commercial and insurance coverage litigation, with an emphasis on creditor’s rights, real property and business disputes, and general corporate matters.
