Magee and Fowler Obtain Defense Verdict for Client

Magee and Fowler obtain a defense verdict for their client First Student, Inc. in a trial in Madison County.   The plaintiff who was employed as a bus driver for the defendant got in a physical fight with another bus driver at the company’s terminal.   The plaintiff filed a lawsuit seeking damages against the bus company for hiring and retaining the other employee who the Plaintiff claimed had violent tendencies.  Plaintiff’s attorney asked for $600,000 in compensation and also sought $1,800,000 in punitive damages against First Student.
