Patrick D. Shaw has joined HeplerBroom’s Springfield office as an Attorney of Counsel.
Shaw concentrates his practice in environmental law and civil litigation, both in court and before administrative bodies. He has successfully argued in front of the Illinois Supreme Court, testified before the Illinois Senate Committee on Environment and Energy, and participated in proposed rulemaking proceedings at the state and federal level.
He earned his J.D. from Tulane University in 1993. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana. While in law school, he was an editor for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal. Shaw is licensed to practice in Illinois and is admitted to the bars of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
