3 HB Attorneys to Play Key Roles at Asbestos Conference

Three of HeplerBroom’s asbestos litigation attorneys will play key roles at HarrisMartin’s annual Midwest Asbestos Litigation Conference, which will be held September 21 at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis. Brenda Baum is in her 13th year of co-chairing the event. Eric Hall will be discussing current trends in St. Clair County (Illinois) cases, while Sean Sheehan will examine ethical considerations when resolving Medicare Secondary Payer and other liens. Other speakers at the conference include judges, law professors, and other experienced defense and plaintiff attorneys whose legal practices concentrate on asbestos litigation.

All three HeplerBroom attorneys focus their practices on asbestos litigation, products and premises liability, and toxic tort matters. Baum and Hall have been named to the lists of Best Lawyers in America and Illinois Leading Lawyers. In addition, Baum is on the list of Illinois Super Lawyers and has been rated an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. In 2022, Hall had the distinction of being St. Louis’ Lawyer of the Year in Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions for Defendants.
