LaDonna Driver concentrates her practice in the area of environmental law involving air emission issues. She works closely with clients and technical consultants to understand facility processes and determine the appropriate application of regulatory and permit requirements to those processes. Environmental Statutes and Regulations
Counsels clients on federal and Illinois compliance requirements for air emission issues.
Advises clients as to ongoing developments in statutes and associated regulations governing air emissions.
Assists clients in analyzing and responding to the impacts of changes in air emission requirements.
Environmental Permitting
Advises clients in air construction permitting, including New Source Review.
Consults with clients in all levels of air operating permits.
Assists regulated entities in preparing permit applications and negotiating permit terms and conditions with the Illinois EPA Bureau of Air.
Counsels clients in implementation of permit and regulatory requirements governing air emission issues, including preparation of compliance and deviation reports.
Compliance and Enforcement
Consults with clients in compliance investigations and pre-enforcement processes regarding air emission matters.
Assists with enforcement proceedings involving air issues.
Ms. Driver was previously a partner with the environmental law firm Hodge, Dwyer & Driver, which merged with HeplerBroom in 2016. In her spare time, she enjoys singing in her church’s choir and serving on the church altar guild.
