Zoe Gross, Julieta Kosiba, Amanda McQuaid, and Mary Beth Youngworth have joined HeplerBroom as its newest associate attorneys. All four had previously served as Summer Associates with the firm.

Gross is based in the firm’s St. Louis office and focuses her practice on complex business litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on insurance law, personal injury and property damage, products liability, and professional liability. She is a 2016 graduate of Washington University School of Law, where she was Managing Editor of the Washington University Law Review. She also held teaching assistantships in Legal Practice and in Criminal Law. Gross earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she was Head Research Assistant in the Political Science Department.

Kosiba, who is based in the firm’s Springfield office, focuses her practice on civil litigation. She, too, is a 2016 graduate of Washington University’s School of Law, where she was Primary Editor of the Washington University Jurisprudence Review. While attending law school, she also served as an extern for a major health care provider and interned for a claims management company. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science from DePaul University, where, as a member of the Mock Trial Association, she won the Outstanding Attorney Award during tournament competition. Kosiba is fluent in Polish and speaks conversational Spanish.

McQuaid is a member of the firm’s Edwardsville banking and financial services group, where she focuses her practice on transactional and litigation matters. In addition to her HeplerBroom summer associateship, she also served as a law clerk for a Central Illinois law firm. She earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science degree in History and Communication from the University of Illinois. McQuaid recently published an article in the Illinois Business Journal, which she co-authored with a HeplerBroom partner.

Youngworth is also based in the firm’s Edwardsville office and focuses her practice on complex litigation matters, including asbestos and toxic torts. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2016 and holds a Certificate in Dispute Resolution. During her law school tenure, she was on the MU Law Arbitration Team, which won a regional championship and was ranked 4^th Place nationally. Prior to attending law school, Youngworth served in the United States Army as an Attack Scout helicopter pilot during Operation Iraqi Freedom. She also served as an Aviations Operations Officer and a Recruiting Company Commander and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Army’s Air Medal. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Colorado State University.
