Duchateau Quoted in Law360
James DuChateau was interviewed and quoted in an October 8 Law360 article examining how state supreme courts across the country are divided on whether insurers can depreciate labor costs when handling property damage claims. DuChateau noted that insurers may begin to modify policy language to more specifically define the factors that go into the determination of actual cash value and replacement costs.
DuChateau, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and insurance coverage litigation in state and federal courts throughout the Midwest and Mountain West. He has been named an Emerging Lawyer by Illinois Leading Lawyers and an Illinois Super Lawyer, as well as being honored as IDC’s Volunteer of the Year and the Legal Assistance Foundation’s Pro Bono Volunteer of the Year.
