Whitlock-Glave, Odom, and Kuchar Receive Awards from IDC
Holly Whitlock-Glave, Greg Odom, and Tara Kuchar were honored recently at the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel’s (IDC) annual meeting, which was held at the East Bank Club in Chicago.
Whitlock-Glave, who is Chair of IDC’s Construction Law Committee, was named the Association’s Volunteer of the Year. An associate in the firm’s Crystal Lake office, she focuses her practice on the defense of construction injury, construction defect, and risk transfer, as well as commercial general liability issues. In addition to her Construction Law Committee work with IDC, she is a member of IDC’s joint committee with the Illinois State Bar Association’s Construction and Tort Groups for developing joint CLEs.
Odom received the President’s Award. He is a member of IDC’s Board of Directors and for the past two years has been Chair of the committee responsible for putting on CLE seminars and other events. A partner in the firm’s Edwardsville office, he focuses his practice on trials involving complex business litigation matters, including toxic torts and commercial litigation. He has been named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale Hubbell, an Emerging Lawyer by Illinois Leading Lawyers, and a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers.
Kuchar received a Meritorious Service Award in recognition of her work as the Editor In Chief of the IDC Quarterly. An associate in the firm’s Edwardsville office, she focuses her practice on the defense of medical malpractice and nursing home liability cases. In addition to her IDC work, she is a member of American Health Lawyers Association, Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys, and the Defense Research Institute.
