Today’s update discusses:
- Marion County moving to Stage 3 of Governor Holcomb’s 5-Stage Plan
- Indianapolis providing free masks to eligible Marion County residents
ECONOMY
- The Mayor of Indianapolis, Joe Hogsett, has announced that Indianapolis is ready to move to Stage 3. This move will allow:
- Places of worship to operate at 50% capacity starting this weekend
- Public gatherings to consist of up to 50 individuals
- Restaurants to allow indoor and outdoor dining at 50% capacity
- Gyms and fitness centers to reopen at 50% capacity
- Pools to reopen at 50% capacity
- Shopping malls to operate at 75% capacity
RESOURCES
- As Indianapolis prepares to move into Stage 3, the city is providing free face coverings for residents. The city will first supply masks to those who cannot afford one and those who fall into a high-risk category. If you fall into one of these categories, you may apply online for a free face covering.
