MacDonald Receives Prestigious Attorney Award

Missouri Lawyers Weekly has announced that Ted MacDonald will be among 26 attorneys from around the state honored with a 2020 ICON Award. An ICON is presented to distinguished attorneys age 60 and older who have had notable and sustained success and leadership both within and beyond the field of law. Additionally, the honorees must be or have been in a senior position in their firm or organization. A luncheon honoring the recipients is set for August 12 at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis.

MacDonald, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, is rated an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. He is annually named to numerous lists of outstanding lawyers, including Best Lawyers in America, Illinois Leading Lawyers, Illinois Super Lawyers, and Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers. During his litigation career, he has concentrated on medical malpractice, employment law, and white-color criminal defense. Additionally, for 28 years he was an adjunct professor at Washington University School of Law in pretrial litigation. He currently focuses his practice on mediation. MacDonald has been with HeplerBroom since 1986.
