HB Attorneys to Play Key Roles at Asbestos Conference
Three of HeplerBroom’s asbestos litigation partners will play key roles at HarrisMartin’s annual Midwest Asbestos Litigation Conference, which will be held September 21 at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis. Brenda Baum is in her 12th year of co-chairing the event. George Kiser will be discussing how to handle remote depositions, and Kelly Libbra will examine personal jurisdiction issues. Also featured at the conference will be a panel of area judges speaking on remote proceedings during a pandemic—and beyond. Panelists include Judge Stephen Stobbs from Madison County, Judge Andrew Gleeson from St. Clair County, and Judge Ellen Levy from St. Louis County.
All three HeplerBroom attorneys focus their practices on asbestos litigation, products liability, and toxic tort matters. Baum and Kiser are rated AV Preeminent Attorneys by Martindale-Hubbell and have been named to the lists of Illinois Leading Lawyers. In addition, Baum has been named to the lists of Best Lawyers in America and Illinois Super Lawyers.
