Banasek to Speak to Chicago Risk Management Group

Tammy Banasek is one of the featured speakers at the annual meeting of the Chicagoland Healthcare Risk Management Society. She and Mary Foote, a registered nurse with Woundcare on Wheels, will discuss the COVID Wound – Not Your Facility Acquired Injury. Banasek, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, focuses her practice on the defense of complex medical, dental, and nursing home issues, as well as professional liability matters. She is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent-Rated Attorney, and has been awarded a Trial Lawyer Excellence Award by Jury Verdict Reporter. She regularly speaks and publishes in the areas of professional and general liability. Banasek earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School (n/k/a UIC John Marshall Law School), graduating cum laude. She also holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Northern Illinois University. She is licensed in Illinois and is admitted to the bars of the Illinois Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
