Varadachari and Young to Speak at National Insurance Claims and Litigation Conference
Bharat Varadachari and Michael Young will be among the featured speakers at Claims and Litigation Management Alliance’s 2022 Annual Conference. Varadachari will be part of a panel discussing how to avoid excessively high settlements, nuclear verdicts, and extra-contractual claims by taking the necessary steps to resolve claims early in the process. Young’s panel will discuss techniques for effective resolution of additional insured disputes between insurance companies. More information on the conference, which is being held March 23-25 in Palm Desert, California, is available here.
Both Varadachari and Young are partners in the firm’s St. Louis office. Varadachari, who focuses his practice on trials involving complex business litigation (including matters related to the defense of insurance matters, the trucking and transportation industry, and personal injury), has been named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. Among his many professional honors and activities is being the current Vice-President of the St. Louis Chapter of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance and serving as President-Elect of the St. Louis County Bar Association. Young (who focuses his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith issues and advising insurers on drafting policy language and developing best practices in handling claims) has been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America. He, too, has many professional honors and activities, including being named a finalist for CLM’s 2022 Outside Defense Counsel Professional of the Year award.
