Hay and Varadachari to Headline ADTA Webinar on Business Development Post COVID

Two HeplerBroom attorneys have been selected to lead a webinar on the importance of and strategies for developing business in a post-COVID world. Linda Hay will moderate the webinar, while Bharat Varadachari will be of the three panelists. The webinar is being presented by the prestigious, by-invitation-only Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. Registration for the Feb. 10 event, which is open to ADTA members as well as their law firm colleagues and clients, is available on ADTA's website.

Hay, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, focuses her practice on the defense of all types of negligence and disciplinary claims against a variety of professionals, including individual healthcare practitioners, as well as healthcare entities, institutions and facilities. She also defends lawyers against claims of professional negligence. Ms. Hay has tried numerous professional liability cases to successful verdict. Hay has been named to numerous lists of top-rated lawyers, including Illinois Leading Lawyers, Illinois Super Lawyers, and Top 50 Female Lawyers in Illinois. In addition to her membership in ADTA, she is rated an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.

Varadachari, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on trials involving complex business litigation, including matters related to the defense of the trucking and transportation industry, personal injury, and insurance matters. He, too, has been named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. In addition, he is a member of the Inns of Court. Varadachari is currently Vice-President of the St. Louis Chapter of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, is a past president of The Lawyers Association of St. Louis, and is President-Elect of the St. Louis County Bar Association.
