McGonigle and Andersson Win Summary Judgment in St. Louis Motor Vehicle Accident Case

Adam McGonigle and Jocelyn Andersson secured a summary judgment for their client in a City of St. Louis rear-end bus-car accident case that had been set for trial in January 2025. The accident in question occurred more than seven years ago, and the judge granting the summary judgment found that plaintiffs, who alleged serious and permanent injuries, “… have not shown, and will not be able to show, that their damages were caused by the accident at issue …”

Both McGonigle and Andersson work in the firm’s St. Louis office and focus on defending personal injury and motor vehicle accidents. McGonigle, a partner, earned his J.D. from the College of William & Mary School of Law in 2013. He has been named to Best Lawyer’s list of “Ones to Watch.” Andersson, an associate, earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 2023. Prior to entering law school, she worked in wildlife rehabilitation and as a special effects makeup artist.
