Kaufmann and Champlin Secure Defense Verdict in St. Clair County Jury Trial
On August 30, a St. Clair County jury deliberated about an hour before returning a defense verdict in a case tried by Stephen R. Kaufmann and Matthew B. Champlin. The plaintiff in the suit had alleged that Securitas security guards at a Schnucks pharmacy tackled and handcuffed him for no reason and that he was held against his will. The guards denied the charges.
