Lytle Obtains Affirmation of Summary Judgment

Dan Lytle recently obtained an Order from the Illinois Appellate Court, Second District, affirming a grant of summary judgment issued by the trial court in a wrongful death lawsuit filed in Lake County, Illinois.  The case of Briana Fay, as Special Administrator of the Estate of David Scheck vs Fifty K Corp. et. al. involved a patron of the Fifty K Sports Saloon who fell and died on the premises.  Mr. Lytle argued that the plaintiff was unable to establish that a hazardous condition on the property caused Mr. Scheck’s fall and death.

Lytle, a partner in the firm’s Edwardsville office, focuses his practice on trials involving complex litigation matters, including personal injury/wrongful death, premises and products liability, insurance, and public utilities. He has been named an Illinois Emerging Lawyer by Illinois Leading Lawyers, a division of Law Bulletin Media.
