HeplerBroom attorney Julieta Kosiba is presenting a webinar for the Illinois Chamber of Commerce on ways to improve the hiring process, ensure legal compliance, and minimize the risk of litigation. Topics covered will include:

• legal considerations during the recruiting and interviewing stages
• background checks and drug testing
• factors to consider when making an offer and establishing terms of employment

Kosiba, an associate attorney working for the firm’s Springfield office, focuses her practice on the defense of civil litigation matters, including representing employers in employment-related lawsuits.
