Gyparakis and Hay Teach Legal Continuing Ed Course for State Defense Association
On August 31, Eleni Gyparakis and Linda Hay will be helping newer associates understand the basics of managing litigation files. Entitled “Open to Close: Playbook for Defending a Lawsuit,” this CLE course for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel provides tips on communicating with clients and analyzing a case. It also covers what a partner may expect an associate to handle as far as motions, evaluating witnesses, and analyzing settlements or jury verdicts. The course was originally presented to HeplerBroom associates as part of its own in-house training program. Registration for this hybrid event (in person or via Zoom) is on IDC's website.
