Lance Jones to Present at National Business Institute Seminar in May

Lance T. Jones, a partner in the Springfield office, is scheduled to present one of 14 sessions at a two-day Illinois Employment Law seminar presented by the National Business Institute (NBI). In his May 9 presentation, Jones will present a survey of newly enacted and amended Illinois statutes and local ordinances likely to impact employers. He will also cover pending bills that may affect employers in Illinois. Sick leave, bereavement leave, covenants not to compete for low wage workers, and inquiries pertaining to employees’ and potential employees’ online activities are among the topics to be covered.
