HB Partner Beth Bauer to Speak at Appellate Practice Seminar

On April 6, 2017, the Eighth Circuit Bar Association and Federal Bar Association-St. Louis Chapter will present “Appellate Practice Across Multiple Disciplines.” In this complimentary CLE program, a panel of experienced appellate practitioners will provide insights in a lively format covering seven types of appeals: Criminal, Civil, Social Security, Bankruptcy, Immigration, Tax, and Habeas Corpus.

Beth Bauer, a Partner in the Edwardsville office, will speak about civil appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, drawing on her extensive experience as a member of the HB Appellate Law practice group. Bauer’s primary practice area is in the defense of complex, multi-party civil cases and class actions, in the course of which she has handled numerous appellate matters, including before the Eighth and Seventh Circuits, as well as the Missouri and Illinois appellate courts. Benjamin Wilson, an Associate in the St. Louis office, is on the Board of the Eighth Circuit Bar Association and is assisting with organizing the event.

When: Thursday, April 6, 2017, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
