Oldenburg and Hay to Speak to Dental Group

Anne Oldenburg and Linda Hay have been invited to speak to a long-standing and well-renowned Chicago area dental study club. The two attorneys will discuss the nature and elements of a claim for dental malpractice, as well as how a case works its way through to resolution. They will share their experiences defending dental practitioners to provide guidelines for avoiding potential claims and examine how these cases can be best defended. They will also discuss some of the more specific risk issues that often arise for dental practitioners (e.g., documentation, managing patient expectations, informed consent, disciplinary matters, peer review, social media, and privacy related concerns).

Hay is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. She actively defends professional liability cases and has tried numerous dental and other types of malpractice cases to successful verdict. She speaks regularly to professionals about risk and claims management.

Oldenburg is also a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. She focuses her practice on the defense of healthcare professionals, as well as representing professionals before licensing boards. Oldenburg has published and lectured extensively on issues relating to healthcare litigation and risk management issues.
