HeplerBroom Attorney Julieta Kosiba

Overview

Julieta A. Kosiba is a talented and versatile litigator who has focused her career on advocating for businesses in state and federal courts. Her experience spans a broad range of matters, including personal injury, property damage, premises liability, and product liability defense; commercial disputes; and employment litigation.

From pre-suit investigation to pre-trial preparation, she pays close attention to details, carefully examines the facts and issues, and helps formulate aggressive yet practical legal strategies that suit her client’s needs. She routinely collaborates with in-house counsel, national counsel, insurers and insureds, and other company representatives to position her cases for success. They rely on her for favorable results, whether that be through settlement, motion practice, trial, or appeal. Her attention to detail, keen ability to analyze and research complicated legal issues, and strong writing skills make her an integral member of the defense team.

Her clients also look to her problem-solving skills for counseling on employment-related issues. Ms. Kosiba works with employers, from big to small, to help them navigate complex legal issues and to provide guidance tailored to their business needs. This includes working with employers on developing legally compliant handbooks and policies.

Ms. Kosiba’s professional path started in college where she discovered trial advocacy through mock trial, which sparked her strong desire to be a trial lawyer. That path took her to law school. While in law school, she interned for a claims management company, worked in-house for a major health care provider as an extern, and served as a Summer Associate with HeplerBroom. These experiences fostered her collaborative and adaptable approach by providing her with diverse perspectives that she continues to utilize in developing litigation strategies and counseling clients.

Ms. Kosiba is fluent in Polish.
